This popular plant has a thick yellowish-white stem and a vibrant green top that sometimes still has the seed hull. It has a mild, nutty, slightly sweet taste that's reminiscent of sunflower seeds but much more delicate and is rich in Vitamins A, B, C, and E, plus minerals like calcium, iron, and magnesium.
